Why Gout Journal exists

Less guesswork.
More to go on.

Living with gout can leave you with a lot of advice and very little of your own history. Gout Journal began with that experience.

Our focus is a useful record of uric acid, medication and daily life, alongside articles grounded in published research that help dispel myths about gout, especially around diet and what you can and cannot eat. The app helps you understand your history, see how changes in your routine relate to your uric acid levels and flares, and have more informed conversations with your clinician.

01 / Your uric-acid history

Know your number.
Keep its history.

One result is a moment. A history gives you something to look back on.

Keep lab and home-test results together, see them on a chart, and return to the dated reading behind each point.

  • Lab and home-test results, clearly labelled
  • Your preferred units, with the standard target in view
  • A record that carries through to your doctor report
